Denis Dufrane's Biography

Denis Dufrane, Professor, Catholic University of Louvain

Prof. Dufrane Denis, MD, PhD, Head of Tissue/Cells Therapy Centre, University Clinical Hospital St-Luc, Catholic University of Louvain. Fields of interest are: Cell and tissue banking, adipose and bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells for bone/skin and muscular tissue engineering, islets transplantation for diabetes treatment, cellular encapsulation for immunoisolation and biomaterials for biocompatibility testings. Our translational research is based on “Bench to Bedside” technology transfer respecting Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Clinical Practice.
