Shunqiang Wang's Biography



Shunqiang Wang, Research Assistant, Department of Mechanical Engineering & Mechanics, Lehigh University

After receiving his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Zhejiang University in China, Shunqiang Wang is currently pursuing his 5th-year Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering at Lehigh University. His current research is focused on isolation of circulating tumor cells using Micro- & Nano-engineering techniques in microfluidic devices. Wang has authored several papers and delivered research results in various conferences.

We reported a novel microfluidic device with wave-herringbone structures for isolation of circulating tumor cells. Through a geometry optimization study in our proposed computational model, our device achieved both competitively high capture efficiency and selectivity compared with reported values.
