Meng How Tan,

Meng How Tan obtained his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering and B.A. degree in Economics from University of California Berkeley, his M.S. degree in aeronautics from California Institute of Technology, his M.S. degree in biomedical engineering from Nanyang Technological University, and his Ph.D. degree in developmental biology from Stanford University. He stayed on in Stanford for his postdoc, working on stem cells, genomics, and RNA editing. He is currently a research scientist in the Genome Institute of Singapore and an Assistant Professor in Nanyang Technological University. His laboratory is interested in systems and synthetic biology and employs cutting edge genomic technologies to dissect genetic regulatory networks in development and diseases. He also leads the Genome Engineering Platform in the Genome Institute of Singapore.
