Raphael Rahmani's Biography



Raphael Rahmani, Research Fellow, Monash University

Raphael Rahmani studied organic chemistry at the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Clermont-Ferrand, France from where he obtained a Master and an Engineer degree in 2006. For his doctoral studies, he joined the group of Dr Jean-Luc Parrain at the University of Aix-Marseille, France and obtained his PhD in 2009. After a postdoctoral stay under the mentorship of Prof. Shu Kobayashi at the University of Tokyo and industrial experience at Eli Lilly in Windlesham, United Kingdom, he moved to his current position at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences where he has worked on Trypanosoma brucei inhibitors and allosteric modulators of GPCRs in the group of Prof. Jonathan Baell.
