Dr. Ramesh K. Goyal is Executive Director (Research & Strategies), V ClinBio Labs Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai. He was the Vice-Chancellor of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda from 2008-11, Director at NMIMS University, Mumbai; ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga, and Professor at L. M. College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad. He has over 36 years of experience in Teaching and Research particularly in Cardiovascular Pharmacology & Diabetes. He has been a PDF and visiting scientist at UBC Vancouver and Uni. Of Manitoba Winnipeg. He is has been the Chairman of Central Regional Committee of AICTE, Bhopal and Member, Executive Committee of AICTE, New Delhi.
He has three patents, 18 books, 26 book chapters, 300 full papers (‘h’ index 32), over 500 abstracts. He is the recipient of 61 awards including Best Pharmacy Teacher and Best Pharmaceutical Research Scientist from APTI and Life Time Achievement & Distinguished Service Awards from International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences, Canada. He has been the President of Indian Pharmacological Society (2009) and Society of Pharmacovigilance, India (2010-11) and President of Indian Society of Hypertension (2012). He is the Vice President of the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences (India Chapter). He is involved in ‘Translational research for drug discovery & diagnostics using biomarker approach’.
