Mark Wright's Biography

Mark Wright, Site Lead, Piramal Healthcare UK Ltd

Dr. Mark Wright is the Site Lead for Piramal Healthcare’s ADC conjugation unit and has over 15 years experience in protein production and conjugation. He started making protein conjugates at the Bio Products Laboratory by conjugating a range of therapeutic drugs including cytotoxics to albumin and other plasma derived proteins for targeted delivery. In 2006 he moved to Piramal Healthcare’s ADC conjugation unit in the Process Development Group. In this group, he was extensively involved in process development of client ADC projects and scale up of these projects for cGMP manufacture. Dr. Mark became the Head of Development before becoming Site Lead in 2013. In this time he has worked on a wide range of pre-clinical, clinical and commercial ADC projects.Dr. Mark has a BSc and PhD in Biochemistry.
