Dhiman Das's Biography

Dhiman Das, PhD Candidate, Nanyang Technological University

Dhiman is a PhD student in the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) in NTU, Singapore. He is supervised and co-supervised by Assoc. Prof. Vincent Chan and Assoc. Prof. Charles Yang Chun, respectively. His research interests include design and fabrication of high throughput microfluidic platforms for oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions for environmental monitoring applications such as droplet-based liquid-liquid extraction of target analyte species from organic solvents, detection of micron-sized oil droplets in water, separation of salts and oil droplets from O/W emulsions, etc.
