We investigated a new bioink derived from mucosal tissue for solving the limitation of a functional regeneration of airway epithelium in vitro and in vivo. Using this bioink, the speed of mucociliary epithelial cells formation was accelerated with a significant increase of mucociliary functionality. We also applied the bioink for 3D printing of trachea and microchip fabrication, and their effects were verified in vitro and in vivo.
