Jasvir Singh, Regulatory, Scientific and Government Affairs Leader – South Asia, Dupont Nutrition & Health

Dr. Jasvir Singh obtained his Master’s Degree in Microbiology from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, followed by Doctorate fromBiochemical Engineering Research and Process Development Centre, Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh. His area of research wasEnzyme Fermentations and Industrial Process Development.
He is currently working with Dupont (Nutrition & Health), asRegulatory, Scientific and Government Affairs Leader for South Asia. Prior to this, he has worked in the areas of Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs with organizations like Mondelez (Cadbury), ITC, SGS, Food Research and Analysis Centre and Jagatjit Industries.
He has also provided his expertise in Laboratory Quality Management Systems to Government of Vietnam, as a Technical Expert for FAO. He is a member of various Committees/ Task Forces of bothGovernment as well as Industry bodies.His areas of interest include global regulatory frameworks and public policy philosophy in the areas of science and technology as well as public health.
