Qasem Ramadan,

Qasem Ramadan received his PhD from Nanyang Technological University in 2004; afterward he joined the A-STAR’s institute of microelectronics in Singapore as a senior research engineer. In October 2008, he joined the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) where he worked in developing miniaturized in vitro models of the human gastrointestinal tract for nutrition analysis. In June 2013 he rejoined the A*STAR Institute of Microelectronics as a research scientist focusing on developing organ-on-a-chip platforms for drug screening and disease modeling.
