Stefan Scheuermann's Biography

Stefan Scheuermann, Researcher, Fraunhofer IPA

Stefan is a Research Associate at the Fraunhofer Project Group for Automation in Medicine and Biotechnology (PAMB). He is group member of the Laboratory Mechatronics and Process Technology Team and responsible for managing research projects with industrial and public partners. After his studies of Biotechnology at the University of Applied Science in Mannheim and a visiting researcher time at the National Centre for Sensor Research (NCSR) in Dublin, he started his career in the field of Laboratory Automation at Fraunhofer PAMB. Since then, his scientific work focuses on the use of oscillating magnetic particles for high-sensitive biomarker detection technology and automated tissue dissociation.
