Wanda Kukulski's Biography


Wanda Kukulski, Group Leader, University of Cambridge

Wanda studied biology at the University of Basel, Switzerland, before undertaking a PhD in biophysics at Basel. She stayed at Basel, at the M. E. Müller Institute, Biozentrum, for her first postdoctoral position before moving to EMBL Heidelberg and subsequently the LMB.

Correlating fluorescence microscopy with electron tomography allows combining protein localization and dynamics with 3D cellular ultrastructure. I will present how we use this approach to understand vesicle budding at the plasma membrane.
