James Reuben's Biography



James Reuben, Professor, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

Dr James Reuben received his doctorate in tumor immunology from India. He worked at a postdoctoral fellow at Brown and Cleveland clinic in neurosciences and Alzheimer’s. At present, he is working in Dr Maciej Zborowski’s laboratory at the Cleveland Clinic, Lerner Research Institute, on magnetic separation of circulating tumor cells, and developing protocols for reliable identification and enumeration.

We showed for the first time that among all CTCs from peripheral blood of MBC patients we could isolate, independently of the EpCAM enrichment, a cluster of EMT-CTCs.
