Iwijn De Vlaminck's Biography

Iwijn De Vlaminck, Robert N. Noyce Assistant Professor in Life Science and Technology Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering, Cornell University

Iwijn De Vlaminck is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University. His research at Cornell focuses on cell-free DNA based diagnostics of rejection and infection in transplantation and technique development in single cell genomics. Iwijn De Vlaminck previously was a postdoc in the lab of Stephen Quake at Stanford University. Before his time at Stanford, De Vlaminck’s interests included single molecule biophysics, in the lab of Cees Dekker at the TUDelft, and nanoscale optics and mechanics, at IMEC. He obtained a PhD from the KULeuven in Belgium.
