Mr Tamoghna Saha obtained his B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from SRM University, Chennai, India in 2014. He is currently perusing his M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, India. His current research areas are: Microfluidics, Transport phenomenon in microchannels, Fabrication and characterization of superhydrophobic surfaces.

The flow and axial dispersion through narrow packed superhydrophobic column is investigated experimentally with implications in liquid chromatography. The experiments establish a reduced drag lowering the high pressure requirement in HPLC and a lower dispersion, leading to enhanced analytical resolution.
