Ashutosh Upadhyay, Associate Professor & Head, National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management

Dr. Ashutosh Upadhyay obtained his B. Tech. and M. Tech. degrees in Chemical Technology (Food Technology) from Harcourt Butler Institute Technology, Kanpur. He was admitted Ph.D. degree in Engineering and Technology for his research entitled ‘Studies on Utilization of Carrot Residue’ from Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya University of Madhya Pradesh. He has been experiencing teaching and academic administration for more than 22 years in the university system. He has also served All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi, as Assistant Director. He has published 12 research papers in different national and international journals. He also has 3 edited booklet/proceedings, 3 book chapter, a Self Learning Booklet for IGNOU to his credit. His present areas of research are fruits and vegetable processing, food safety and traceability, minimal processing and food extrusion.
