Yilei Zhang's Biography

Yilei Zhang, Assistant Professor, School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, College of Engineering, NTU

Zhang Yilei received his doctoral degree in both mechanical engineering and electrical engineering at Iowa State University. Currently he is an assistant professor in School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in Nanyang Technological University. Before that, he worked as a senior research engineer in the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. His research interests include microenvironment control and sensing for neurons and biofilms, tactile sensor development and perception modeling, microstructured optical fiber fabrication and applications.
