Dr. Ian Pike is Chief Operating Officer at Proteome Sciences where he leads the Scientific, Commercial and Intellectual Property Functions. Ian has 25 years experience in the diagnostics and biomarker fields. After his PhD and post-doctoral studies Ian joined Wellcome Diagnostics (subsequently Murex Biotech) where he developed and launched three in vitro diagnostic assays for infectious diseases. After 5 years in technology transfer with the UK Medical Research Council and Cancer Research UK where he managed diverse portfolios in neuroscience, infectious diseases and cancer Ian joined Proteome Sciences in 2002.
