Amrendra Kumar Roy's Biography

Amrendra Kumar Roy, Associate Head, Jubilant Generics Limited

Dr. Amrendra Kumar Roy is currently heading the QbD department at Jubilant generics, where he is establishing a protocol for implementing QbD in both API and formulation.
He completed his PhD in medicinal chemistry from Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow in 2005. There after started his career as a chemist at Dr Reddy’s Laboratory. At DRL he was a core member responsible for implementing QbD in process development of NCEs & API for ~ 5 years and there after shifted to production and was involved in continuous improvement of commercial APIs using Six Sigma methodologies. He has an overall experience of more than 9 years in the field of QbD and six sigma.
He is a certified black belt from ASQ and has published many article in OPRD and other journals and few of them are most read. Apart from it, he like to blog on QbD and six sigma in his free time.
