Diego Herrera's Biography

Diego Herrera, Head of Global Data Management and Project Information, Almirall S.A.

Dr Diego Herrera was graduated in Life Science in the University of Barcelona, Spain in 1987.
He is also specialized in Hematology and Biochemistry working in Hospital Laboratory’s unit and teaching as Professor of Clinical Laboratory degree during 3 years in Barcelona’s school.
With more than 24 years working in Pharma Industry, He started as Study Monitor in Clinical Trials, since then, He has been evolving into different roles in the area of clinical development, by leading key innovation projects for transforming clinical development processes and systems, in the area of document and data management.
Dr Herrera’s current position is Head Global Data Management and Project Information, he is managing one senior team mainly focused to ensure document and data integrity in Clinical Trials and oversight CROs activities and services.
