Naiwen Cui, Researcher, David Weitz Research Group, School of Engineering and Applied Science, Harvard University

Naiwen Cui's research work focuses on developing tools for single cell omics and single molecule sequencing using high throughput drop-based microfluidics and hydrogel barcoded beads. He is the recipient of the prestigious Canadian NSERC Scholarship.

Single molecule High Fidelity Sequencing achieved by combining Drop-Based Microfluidics and Hydrogel Barcoded Bead technology. It enables accurate identification of single molecule, significantly reduce the background noise and thus achieve identification of true minor variant in heterogeneous mixtures of nucleotides.
