Pramila Tata, Deputy Research Director, Syngene

Dr. Pramila Tata is currently Deputy Research Director at Syngene International and heads the NGS and Integrative Multi-Omics Analysis group in the Bioinformatics Division.In her current role she interfaces with various Pharmaceutical, Biotech and FMCG clients to provide support for their data analysis needs.Prior to joining Syngene, she was the Director (Application Science) at Strand Life Sciences.At Strand she was leading the Application Science group and was working with highly interdisciplinary teams to develop Microarray,NGS and Pathway Analysis software tools, GeneSpring and Strand NGS.She also teaches the science elective for journalism students at the Asia College of Journalism, Chennai.
