Yong Weon Yi's Biography

Yong Weon Yi, Head of Institute, ExoCoBio Exosome Institute, ExoCoBio Inc.

Dr. Yong Weon Yi graduated with a B. Sc. and M.S. at Seoul National University and Ph.D. at Dankook University. His dynamic research experience has included gene therapy in Samyang Genex Biotech Research Institute, anti-cancer drug research in Georgetown University, and developing automated cell counters and imaging instruments in Logos Biosystems. Dr. Yi is currently Head of the ExoCoBio Exosome Institute (EEI) in South Korea. His current research interest is the study of exosomes for the development of therapeutics and cosmeceuticals.
