Smart consumables play a critical role in novel liquid biopsy technologies and market value as they support the finding of novel biomarkers and the possibility to find and characterize rare biomarkers in peripheral body fluids. Thereby, the burden for the patient can be reduced, monitoring tightened and potential treatments initiated earlier, personalized and hence more efficiently applied. |
