Jun Ho Son, PhD, has 15 years of experience in the semiconductor physics/device, photonics, micro/nano-fabrication, and molecular diagnostics technologies including ultrafast photonic PCR. After working at UC Berkeley for 5 years, Dr. Son co-founded Kryptos Biotechnologies, Inc. in 2017 and has served as a CTO. The main focus of the company is to provide an innovative in vitro diagnostics (IVD) platform that enables people to make the right clinical decisions quickly at a reasonable cost using photonic PCR technology. Dr Son have published 39 peer-reviewed papers and have also filed over 60 patents including 33 issued patents.
