Xiaolei Nie's Biography

Xiaolei Nie, Research Fellow, Singapore University of Technology and Design

Nie Xiaolei gained her PhD from Nanyang Technological University in Bioengineering. During her PhD she developed various osteochondral grafts using tissue engineering methods. After PhD study she went to Washington University in St. Louis in the USA to receive 1 year overseas postdoctoral training. During the postdoc training, she developed nanoparticles to treat lower limb ischemia. Her research interest is on Tissue engineering and Regenerative medicine. She now focuses on developing hair follicle beads through 3D printing and microfluidics.
