Zhengya Dong's Biography

Zhengya Dong, Professor, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Guangdong Laboratory

Zhengya Dong received his Diploma in Physics from Jilin University and his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After graduation, he did his postdoc firstly at KU Leuven and secondly at TU Eindhoven, under the supervision of Professor Simon Kuhn and Timothy Noel respectively. He is now a professor at Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Guangdong Laboratory, leader of the Advanced Microreactor and Flow Chemistry Group (www.zdonggroup.com). His research interests focus on design, scale up and application of novel flow reactor, such as ultrasonic, 3D printed, microwave assisted reactors.
