Erol Harvey's Biography

Erol Harvey, Chief Executive Officer, MiniFAB

Erol is the co-founder and CEO of MiniFAB, a developer and manufacturer of lab-on-a-chip diagnostic devices.
He has been involved in the commercialization of micro and nano technologies for more than 20 years and has global experience in working in and with major multinationals, start-ups and SMEs, Universities and Government Research Labs. Originally trained in laser and plasma physics, he is currently involved in innovation and product development in microfluidics, lab-on-a-chip biotechnology, polymer micromachining, manufacturing, investment and business creation. Dr. Harvey is a Fellow of the Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, a Member of MANCEF, and has served on several Government Councils and Advisory Boards.
In 2011 MiniFAB was awarded the inaugural “Enabling Technology Company of the Year” and in recognition for achievements in entrepreneurship in emerging technology in 2012 Erol was awarded Enabling Technology Entrepreneur of the Year by the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame.
