Susannah Varmuza's Biography



Susannah Varmuza, Professor, University of Toronto

Susannah Varmuza is a Professor in the Department of Cell and Systems Biology at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada. She has been conducting research, and has taught, in the field of epigenetics and reproductive biology since 1988, and has published more than 50 peer reviewed papers. She is also the Associate Chair of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Cell and Systems Biology, which oversees undergraduate education for more than 1000 students. Graduate and undergraduate trainees in her lab have gone on to successful careers in science, medicine, law and business.
