Organ-on-a-Chip: A Paradigm Shift for Drug Development and Personalized MedicineMonday, 12 July 2021 at 17:30 Add to Calendar ▼2021-07-12 17:30:002021-07-12 18:30:00Europe/LondonOrgan-on-a-Chip: A Paradigm Shift for Drug Development and Personalized MedicineLab-on-a-Chip, Microfluidics and Organs-on-Chips Course 2021 in Virtual Event - Ideal for US East and West Coast Time ZonesVirtual Event - Ideal for US East and West Coast Time ZonesSELECTBIOenquiries@selectbiosciences.com This section of the course will offer a broad introduction into the organ-on-a-chip field for scientists, technicians, engineers but also business developers who would like to develop a deeper understanding of this technology for the use in drug development and personalized medicine. The course covers basic principles of organ-on-a-chip (OoaC) or microphysiological systems (MPS), discusses material and manufacturing aspects of such devices and provides an overview over current solutions both for single organ and multi-organ systems. Insights into the development of the OoaC market and commercialization strategies will be given, together with application examples in different fields.
