Rosalinde Masereeuw,

Dr. Masereeuw is Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology since 2002 at the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre. She received her M.Sc. in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University in 1991, and a Ph.D. from the Radboud University in 1997; thereafter she joined the faculty as assistant professor. In 1995 she worked in the lab of Dr. D.S. Miller (Lab. Pharmacology and Chemistry, NIEHS/NIH, RTP, NC), and visited Mount Desert Island Biological Laboratory (ME) as principal investigator in 1997, 1998 and 2010. Her research interests include the regulation of xenobiotic transport under physiological and pathological conditions and renal regeneration. She is author of nearly 100 publications, book chapters, and review articles, and has presented numerous lectures and workshops in topics related to drug transport. In 2009 she received the Dutch Pharmacological Society (NVF) Schering-Plough Pharmacology Award and in 2010 the Galenus Research prize as recognitions of her contributions to pharmacological research.
