Sherry Yang, MD., Ph.D. is the medical officer and chief of the National Clinical Target Validation Laboratory, Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health (NIH), in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Yang’s interest and focus have been on clinical target validation and biomarker science toward an individualized or precision medicine. She is one of the editors for the book entitled “Handbook of Therapeutic Biomarkers in Cancer” and has over 100 publications and presentations with more than 2675 citations. Dr. Yang is the recipient of several biomarker-related innovation awards.
