Peter Horvath's Biography

Peter Horvath, Data Analysis Senior Scientist, ETH Zurich

Peter Horvath received his M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Szeged, Hungary in 2004 and his Ph.D. degree in satellite image processing at INRIA, Sophia Antipolis, France in 2007. Since 2007 has been working in the Light Microscopy and Screening Centre, ETH, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Switzerland. His research interest includes image segmentation, motion detection and machine learning techniques and currently working on techniques to minimize the need of human resources in high-content screen analysis and correction methods to improve image quality.
