Giacinto Scoles's Biography

Giacinto Scoles, Professor, University Of Udine

Professor Scoles is a senior researcher funded by the ERC who works at the University Hospital and Department of Medical and Biological Sciences of the University of UDINE in Italy. He is also Donner Prof. of Science Emeritus at Princeton University and Distinguished Prof. in the College of S&T at Temple University. He has published approx. 300 papers in refereed journals in fields as different as pure physics and nano-medicine and has supervised approx. 100 PhD students' theses. His H-index is 71 and the total number of citations to his papers is ~ 17,500. His current interests go from medical diagnostics to drug design and therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases.
