Jürgen Bosch's Biography

Jürgen Bosch, Assistant Professor, Johns Hopkins University

I received biochemistry and X-ray crystallography training with Dr. Wolfgang Baumeister at the Max-Planck-Institute for Biochemistry, Germany and later continued my training as a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Wim Hol at the University of Washington, where I was part of a structural genomics consortium for pathogenic protozoa (SGPP). Since 2009, I am an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB). Our primary research focus is on identifying small molecules inhibiting the Malaria parasite.
