Romen Rodriguez-Trujillo's Biography

Romen Rodriguez-Trujillo, Postdoctoral Researcher, Technical University of Denmark (DTU)

Dr Rodriguez-Trujillo has a MSc in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Physics and Microfluidics. He completed his doctorate in 2008 at University of Barcelona and the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) where he developed microfluidic devices for high-speed counting and sizing of cells and particles in suspension. After a short postdoctoral period in Barcelona, he joined the group of Prof. Winnie Svendsen at the Technical University of Denmark in 2010. Currently he is coordinating the microfluidic section in the group and leading the research in a Proof-of-Concept National project for “Label-free and multiplexed detection of protein in a microfluidic device.
