Rodolphe Marie, Assistant Professor, Technical University of Denmark

Rodolphe Marie is currently an associate professor at the department of micro and nanotechnology at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU Nanotech). He received his Engineer degree from National Institute for Applied Sciences (INSA) in France and a PhD degree at the Technical University of Denmark. His research interest is in micro/nanofluidics in general and nanofluidic devices applied to single DNA molecules for genomics in particular.

A nanofluidic device is used to image Mb-long DNA molecules from human at full stretching. We demonstrate how fluorescence barcodes are used to map single molecules to the hg18 reference and study structural variations of single copies of the genome.
