Ciprian Iliescu,

Ciprian Iliescu received his Bachelor of Science and PhD from Polytechnic University of Bucharest in 1989 and 1999, respectively. During his PhD studies he also worked at Baneasa S.A. (IC’s company). He spun off a company with his PhD work on silicon pressure sensors (1999). From 2001 to 2003 he work as a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Micromachines (MEMS) Center at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. In May 2003 he joined the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, Singapore. His current research interest concerns the development of biomedical devices, microfluidics and bioengineering. His member of the Academy of Romanian Scientists.
