The biomarkers will improve the treatment and reduce the healthcare costs. The discovery of biomarkers is one of the most important areas of current medical research. A survey of literature indicates that the biomarker studies are inadequate. The results have not replaced the old clinical tests nor do they detect diseases at an early stage so that the survival rate is enhanced.
