2000-2005: Bachelor and Master of Science, University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Master thesis in immunology (Laboratory of Prof. Wodnar-Filipowicz, University Hospital, Basel, Switzerland). Study of the role of the NKG2D receptor expressed by NK cells in tumor cell killing.

2005-2009: PhD thesis in tumor immunology (Laboratory of Prof. Christofori, University of Basel, Switzerland). Study of the contribution of myeloid cells to tumor lymphangiogenesis.

2009-2010: Postdoctoral Fellow in tumor biology (Laboratory of Prof. Christofori, University of Basel, Switzerland). Study of the role of podoplanin expression at the invasive tumor front.

2010-present: Postdoctoral Fellow in therapeutic peptide development (Laboratory of Prof. Heinis, EPFL, Lausanne). Development of bicyclic peptide inhibitors against disease targets.

We are generating bicyclic peptide ligands for disease targets using an approach based on phage display technology. The bicyclic peptides combine key qualities of antibody therapeutics (high affinity and specificity) and advantages of small molecule drugs.
