Bhavneet Binder's Biography

Bhavneet Binder, Bioinformatics Engineer, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

Bhavneet Bhinder obtained her BSc in biotechnology from Amity Institute of Biotechnology (India), and completed her MS in bioinformatics from Georgia Institute of Technology (USA) in 2008.
Since joining the HTS Core Facility in 2009, Bhavneet has been working as a Bioinformatics Analyst developing tools and managing large sets of high throughput as well as high-content screening data.
She has contributed to the development of the Bhinder-Djaballah Analysis (BDA) methodology to analyze RNAi screening data across all technology platforms and formats, enabling an annotated hit nomination for experimental confirmation studies.
