Fozia Noor's Biography

Fozia Noor, Biochemical Engineer, Saarland University

Fozia Noor is a pharmacist and did her PhD in Heidelberg, Germany at the Institute of Pharmacy and Molecular Biotechnology in 2006. Currently, she is the group leader of systems biology of mammalian cells and systems toxicology in the group of Prof. Heinzle at the Biochemical Engineering Institute of Saarland University. Her research interests include development and optimization of in vitro methods for toxicological screening and metabolomics. She was actively involved in the projects EU-VITROCELLOMICS, EU- INVITROHEART, BMBF-HEPATOX. She is currently involved in BMBF projects VIRTUAL LIVER and OXISYS. She is also jointly coordinating the NOTOX project funded by EU and Cosmetics Europe.
