Dr Darvas received his first degree in organic chemistry, another in computer science, and his PhD in the use of artificial intelligence in drug design. After teaching in several European and American universities, he is currently an Associate Professor at the Florida International University in Miami. He is the author of 140 publications, co-editor of 4 books, inventor of over 40 patents, chairman and founder of the Flow Chemistry Society and Associate Editor of the Journal of Flow Chemistry. He is a founder of several life-science research companies, including the award-winning Thalesnano, NanGenex and Druggability Technologies.
