Satjana Pattanasak's Biography



Satjana Pattanasak, Research Scientist, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA)

Dr. Pattanasak received Ph.D. and M.Sc. Degrees in Microbiology and Immunology from the Faculty of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Georgetown University, USA in 2010 and 2006, respectively. From 2002 to 2005, she was with the Chulalongkorn University, Thailand as a junior research scientist.
Currently, she is with the Science Home, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Pathumthani, Thailand, as a Lead Senior Scientist.
She has authored or co-authored over 10 peer-reviewed publications in the field of Microbiology and Immunology.

siRNAs are designed to specifically target and silence a mutant allele, presenting an opportunity for therapeutic intervention. In this study, a reporter mouse model was developed to enable the study of siRNA delivery to skin and investigate the efficacy of treatment.
