Mariarosa Mazza's Biography

Mariarosa Mazza, Research Fellow, University of Manchester

Mariarosa Mazza obtained her PhD from the UCL School of Pharmacy working on the formulation of peptide nanofibres for drug delivery. She is a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council and an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. She joined the Nanomedicine Lab in 2012 to work on the development of new nanomedicines based on soft and hard materials. In 2013 she was appointed Research Fellow in Nanomedicine at the University of Manchester. Her research focuses on the development of nanofiber-mediated delivery systems, therapeutic models and live imaging technologies.
