Arpita Bhattacharya's Biography

Arpita Bhattacharya, Associate Professor, Amity University

She is an Associate Professor in Amity Institute of Nanotechnology, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, Noida. She has completed B.Tech., M.Tech. & Ph.D. in Chemical Technology from University of Calcutta, Kolkata. She has cleared GATE and CSIR-SRF fellowship examinations before Ph.D.
She is working in Amity since 2008, before joining Amity; she worked as lecturer (2003-08) in the department of Chemical Engg. in K.K. Wagh College of Engg., Nasik under Pune University. Her Research interests include Nanomedicine, nanocomposites, various nanomaterial synthesis. She has number of papers in national, international journals and magazines to her credit. She has been part of many National and international conferences.She has filed 2 patents, completed a DRDO project in 2011.
Dr. Bhattacharya got special award for paper presentation in the International conference on Nanomaterials “Nano-2004”, organized by IE – India, BECS, and MRCS in collaboration with UNSW & UCF. She is life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) & Institute of Engineers (IEI).
