Shalini Gupta's Biography

Shalini Gupta, Assistant Professor, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi

Shalini Gupta completed her B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT-BHU Varanasi in 2002. She received her PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University in 2007. After being a post doc in the Materials dept. at Imperial College London, UK, she joined as an Assistant Professor in Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Delhi in Dec 2010. Shalini's research interests include directed assembly of colloidal particles for low-cost biosensors and novel materials fabrication. She is an editorial board member of International Journal of Chemical Engineering Research (IJChER) and International Journal of NanoScience and Nanotechnology (IJNN) since 2011 and the recipient of DPCC Young Faculty Incentive Fellowship.
