Overview

With the ongoing heated debate on GM crops, Select Biosciences has invited a range of thought leaders to share their perspective on the unique aspects of technology required to enhance the aesthetics, yield, nutrition and disease resistance of varying crops.  The next generation of epigenetics, microarrays and sequencing techniques will be discussed with reference to fascinating current research.

Other conference tracks at this event include RNAi & miRNA, Advances in qPCR and Epigenetics. Registered delegates will have access to all four meetings ensuring a very cost-effective trip.

In addition the event will also host a cutting edge training course and two business tutorials.

Agenda Topics

  • Disease resistance in livestock
  • Enhancing plant resistance to disease
  • Genetic engineering to increase yield from livestock
  • Optimisation of growth for food and biofuel
