Overview

The Third Annual SELECTBIO Circulating Biomarkers World Congress 2016 brings together academic researchers as well as industry participants to present and discuss the most up-to-date research and commercial activities in the translation of various circulating biomarker classes towards the clinic.

This conference track addresses the fast-moving area focusing on circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA), circulating RNAs (such as circulating microRNAs) as well as circulating tumor cells (CTCs).  There is much interest in the characterization of these classes of biomarkers especially as circulating biomarkers for cancer.

A co-located exhibit hall features companies developing technologies and products for the complete workflow from sample isolation, preparation, through data analysis.

Conference delegates receive access to all three co-located conference tracks, can mix-and-match presentations from all three tracks thereby maximizing the conference experience, and can network with delegates from the various co-located tracks and exhibition.

Agenda Topics

  • Circulating Biomarker Classes: Exosomes, Microvesicles, Circulating-Free DNA (cfDNA), Circulating RNA, Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs)
  • Circulating Protein Biomarkers
  • Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs): Methodologies for Capture and Analysis
    • Capture Approaches
    • Molecular Characterization Technologies
  • Circulating-Free (cfDNA) in Various Cancer Classes and Biomarker Potential
    • Next Generation Sequencing-based Analysis of cfDNA
  • Microfluidics for CTC Analysis
  • Nucleic Acid-based Circulating Biomarkers
    • Circulating microRNAs, Other Classes of Circulating RNAs
    • Circulating-Free DNA/Cell-Free DNA (cfDNA)
  • The Circulating Transcriptome

All delegates receive the most up-to-date collection of academic literature, reviews as well as Powerpoint presentations related to circulating nucleic acids, CTCs, liquid biopsies and companion diagnostics to complement the conference presentations.

Included in this literature collection are publications focusing on the capture and analysis of CTCs plus the extensive body of literature studying circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) as well as circulating RNAs in various disease classes.

This collection of literature is accessible via the conference cloud for download by the conference delegates, is thorough and is an excellent resource for R&D planning, presentations, business planning and investor presentations.
