Fred Kramer Professor of Microbiology, Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics, New Jersey Medical School Rutgers University Fred Russell Kramer is Professor of Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Genetics at Rutgers University. After receiving a doctorate from the Rockefeller University, he was a member of the faculty of Columbia University for 17 years, and then moved his laboratory to the Public Health Research Institute, where he has carried out research with his colleagues for the past 28 years.
Mikael Kubista Professor/Founder, TATAA Biocenter AB Dr Kubista is founder and CEO of the TATAA Biocenters (www.tataa.com) and he is also head of the department of gene expression at the institute of Biotechnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He was one of the pioneers contributing to the development of quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) and introduced qPCR for single cell expression profiling. He led the development of reagents for high throughput expression profiling at his team develop qPCR tomography for intracellular expression profiling. Most recently Kubista co-developed ValidPrime.
